Who we are
We are a registered specialist in managing share portfolios for individuals and institutions to achieve capital growth over the long term. We offer investment management services to individuals, corporates and other entities by managing their investment portfolios on a discretionary basis. Orion Fund Management (Pvt) Ltd is registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission of Sri Lanka.
Established in 1997, OFM has since steadily expanded its customer base and funds under management. We offer clients the ability to have their own, professionally managed equity portfolios.
In contrast to a mutual fund*, which has to cater to a broad cross section of investors with different needs and therefore will not offer you a tailor made solution, a portfolio of your own could be customised to meet your particular needs.
The process is very transparent. While we manage your account, the investments are held in your own Central Depository System (CDS) account or custodian account, enabling you to retain complete control of ownership of the assets throughout our investment relationship.
